Pure Pilates Covid Policy
All of this sounds impersonal but please be assured Pure Pilates Ilkley remains a place where all our clients can feel the “me-time”. It is special and is still there for you.
Online Classes during Covid-19
Ensure you have read and understood the different levels of the classes and only take the ones appropriate for you. If you are at all unsure as to what type of class would be suitable for you please contact the studio by email.
Please note our online group classes are not suitable for anyone who has not been signed off by a medical professional following injury, or other health issues which may affect your ability to exercise. If you are uncertain, please check first with your GP. Pure Pilates Ilkley will not be held responsible for any injury following our online sessions.
Individuals are responsible for themselves and need to skip or modify exercises as necessary. Classes are taken at your own risk.
Payments will be held on your Pure Pilates Ilkley account and are non-refundable. Once the studio is open credit on accounts can be used toward studio sessions.
Payments are valid for 3 months. If you currently have money on your account, or a positive balance from previous group class or private session passes, you can use this money to purchase online classes.
Please ensure you have enough space to move safely, so that nothing will obstruct your movement.
Our usual 24hr cancellation policy applies.
In-Studio Classes during Covid-19
We are incredibly excited to reopen our doors and look forward to welcoming you into the studio. To make sure that we reopen our studio in the safest way possible, we’ve reviewed and updated our health and safety standards. Pure Pilates Ilkley is taking extra precautions and we have implemented some changes and enhanced sanitation / disinfection procedures with the health & safety of both our teachers and our clients in mind.
Prepayment for all classes and products is to be made online via our booking system or by bank transfer only, cash will not be accepted for the time being. Please ask for online access details to be sent if you have not used the online system before. Bank details can be provided for bank transfer.
Additional time will be included between appointments to prevent client contact with each other.
All door handles, surfaces and equipment will be wiped thoroughly with disinfectant before and after each client.
An air purifier and an electrostatic disinfectant spray have been installed for client safety, comfort and confidence, and will be used between appointments.
Staff will wear appropriate PPE equipment when conducting private sessions when social distancing is more difficult.
Water will be unavailable in the studio so please make sure you bring your water bottles filled up.
Please arrive in your work out gear ready for class.
Anyone arriving early at the studio should be prepared to wait either outside or in the office area to facilitate social distancing.
Although clients are not required to wear PPE, we would encourage you to do so if you so wish.
We ask that you wash your hands upon arrival and before leaving.
A no-touch soap dispenser is provided in the toilet together with paper towel. Please dispose of them carefully and wipe down taps, plungers etc. after use with the disinfectant and paper towel provided.
Hand sanitiser is available in the studio for use at any time.
The usual towels will not be provided until the pandemic crisis is past, but clients can bring their own.
During your session you will need to clean any equipment that you will not be returning to. We will provide sufficient cleaning materials and instructions to do so.
By confirming your appointment you are agreeing that you are not showing symptoms of Covid-19 and that you have not been in contact with anyone who has within the last 14 days.
We ask that you respect and adopt social distancing guidelines to maintain a minimum safety distance in the studio especially when waiting for your appointment.
